A slab built stoneware vase coloured with a royal blue stain. Fired in oxidation. This vase is unglazed, but treated with a liquid quartz solution to ensure that it is waterproof.
This particular stain colour has been a dominant part of my colour palette for most of my early ceramics practice. From 2026, I am no longer using this stain, and so it is one of the last representative pieces of my earlier work.
